Clarissa Falls to Carla Creek, a river tubing trip is our next adventure of the day.

Day 3:
We drive a truly adventurous street through the prominent Mountain Pine Ridge in the CHIQUIBUL Forest Reserve to Caracol. Caracol is the largest known Maya city in Belize. The largest pyramid in Caracol, "Caana" (Sky Place), rises 143 feet high, making it is the tallest man-made structure in all of Belize.
On the way back, we stop for a bath at the Rio On Pools. Rio on Pools features a wide, open expanse of pine forest, and small waterfalls that cascade over large granite rocks, ending in round pools connected by natural waterslides. (B/-/-)

Day 4:
The present-day sightseeing of the Mayan cermenies place "Actun Tunichil Muknal" hidden in the jungle is one of the main attractions of the west from Belize surely.
We swim into the entrance of the cave. After approximately 1km river-migration and climbs over rocks we come into the main-foyer, in the century-aged craft-job and skeletons impressions of old Mayan rites mediates. Also female skeletons are in this cave. What should put an end to the myth, that women with that were impossible May-ace of ceremonial actions.
This tour can be enforced only by few licensed leaders. They should miss it with a Belize-stay on no account.

Day 5:
Tikal - in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by lush vegetation, lies one of the major sites of Mayan civilization, inhabited from the 6th century B.C. to the 10th century A.D. The ceremonial centre contains superb temples and palaces, and public squares accessed by means of ramps. Remains of dwellings are scattered throughout the surrounding countryside. (B/L/-)

Day 6:
A two hours car ride brings us northeast to Orange work. Here waits our boot to the ruins of Lamanai (submerged crocodil). The
scenic boat ride 26 miles up the New River is the easiest way to get to Lamanai and the journey is as interesting as the ruins themself and for the aware "birder" it may be the most productive of rare and unusual sightings Belize has to offer as you travel through miles of virgin river fauna, viewing majestic trees with overhanging air plants and colorful Orchids. The up-river boat ride is a wonderful opportunity for wildlife spotting. Along the way see crocodiles floating near the river's edge, turtles, camouflaged bats and the "Jesus Christ Bird" walk on water.
Lamanai: Set in tropical forest and providing spectacular views from several of its large temples, Lamanai provides a unique experience into the culture of  the Maya and the biological diversity. Although hundreds of ruins are said to remain unexcavated in the nearby jungle, three of the most impressive temples have been renovated: the Jaguar Temple, named for its boxy jaguar decoration; the Mask Temple, adorned by a 13-foot stone mask of an ancient Maya king; and the High Temple. Day 7:
Today we drive to Barton Creek Cave in a splendid landscape through a settlement of the conservative Mennonites to the bar-sound. The settlers live without current, telephone and connection to the public water-network. They represent a glaring contrast to the progressive fellow-believers in the region Spanish Lookout. After we have to manage a river-pass with the jeep, we explore the old Maya cave with a canoe. The afternoon is free. (B/-/-)
