Today we discover the Mayan ruins of Xunantunich - one of the most important rites places of the classic period. Xunantunich's show-piece is the highly emergent pyramid (about 150 ft.), that was regarded as the highest construction of Belize until the Caana of Caracol was discovered.
Clarissa Falls to Carla Creek, a river tubing trip is our second adventure of the day. We get the tubes at Clarissa Falls Lodge und float down the Macal River. Birds, Iguanas, Otter are companions on this relaxing journey. Your guide will pick you up at the hammock bridge in Carla Creek after an approximately 2 hours ride.
